Exercise & Anti Aging

How does exercising allow us to look younger and delay aging?

You do not need those aging cream or supplements to help keep your youth. Exercising regularly is all you need to keep yourself looking fit and young!

Here's some benefits of exercising that can help with anti aging

#1: Improve blood circulation

All the cells in our body require oxygen and nutrients to function and our blood is the main transporter for that. Exercising strengthens your heart and improves blood circulation. The increased blood flow raises the oxygen levels in your body. This aids in the repairing of cells which is a factor that is often neglected when it comes to anti aging.

#2: Posture Maintenance

As we age, we lose muscle mass and increase fats. By exercising, we help curb this problem as we build up muscles and bone health, effectively allowing us to stand better and more confident even as we get older.

#3: Slows cell aging

Its related to the telomeres. Telomeres are the ends of chromosomes that protects it, it also controls aging. It become shorter as we get older. Studies have shown that those involved in HIIT and aerobic exercises saw an increase in length of their telomeres, which in turn slows down the process of our cells aging.

#4: Protection from diseases

By regularly exercising, our bones and muscles become stronger in the process and this helps to prevent impaired functions, osteoporosis as well as heart diseases! Simply because our body cells are active. Think of it in the context of an engine which is constantly maintained and kept running vs another one that has been left to collect dust, which one would have a healthier and long usage life?

#5: Decreases Risks

As we get older, our body tend to lose muscle mass and our bones become brittle. This would cause us to be at risk of fractures when we fall. We might also lose our sense of balance as well. By exercising frequently, we are able to mitigate this issue as we reduce the risks! Our bones and muscles would be stronger so that we would not be so susceptible to falls or fractures!
