Let's assume that you spend 3o minutes everyday cooking up a meal or going out to grab a bite. It will take you 5 days x 3 meals per day x 30 minutes per meal = 7.5 hours/week to settle your hunger. Now compare it to doing meal prep, it will only take you 2 hours to get everything ready for the week. You will be saving 5.5 hours a week and that is 22 hours a month!
This will leave you more time to do your work, watch an extra episode on Netflix or even do a 15-minute work-out. Besides, you will be able to cut down on the amount of dishes to wash as well!

Furthermore, having a prepped meal will reduce your temptations and eliminates potentially bad decisions out of food. Monica Auslandner Moreno, M.S., R.D.N, L.D., the founder of Essence Nutrients, said that "When you're hungry at 12:30 p.m., you'll order or eat the first thing that crosses your plate. Having a prepped meal cuts back on food anxiety and insecurity, and ensures proper food decisions".
